Shopping comparison web site mySupermarket.co.uk is the latest UK retailer to adopt iPoints, an online loyalty programme for UK shoppers.
mySupermarket.co.uk allows consumers to compare and save money on their weekly shopping via UK online supermarkets Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Ocado (Waitrose). The price comparison website suggests alternatives for lower priced products and products which are on special offer.
MySupermarket shoppers can now earn 2 iPoints for every £1 they spend when they fill their trolley through mySupermarket. The iPoints can then be redeemed for a wide range of gifts such as books, CDs, DVDs, cameras, charity ideas and weekend breaks.
The supermarket price comparison site is aiming to increase the number of sales and value of orders by rewarding mySupermarket shoppers with iPoints for their purchases. Customers can still collect their Nectar or Clubcard points from their supermarkets’ own loyalty programmes.
mySupermarket is the UK’s only independent supermarket price comparison web site. It recently won praise from the Food Standards Agency for its new ‘traffic light’ health checking tool that allows users to see the level of fat, saturated fat, salt and sugar of food products at the click of a mouse.
