According to Danish media the part Icelandic owned Danish publishing company Nyhedsavisen, Dagsbrun Media K/S lost 632 million Danish kronur last year. Nyhedsavisen is 51% owned by Morten Lund and the Icelandic Stodir Invest owns 49%. Despite the loss there is good spirit within the company and new investors have been announced. Plans are to take the company off the stock market next year.
According to Þórdís Sigurðardóttir, CEO of Stoðir Invest, Morten Lund has taken over and Stoðir will reduce their ownership down from 49% to 15%. The announced entrance of the new investors has been kept a secret, according to VB.is and they are not Icelandic.
