BizzEnergy, a leading energy supplier in the UK, has welcomed the publication of an energy report from the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform.
The select committee report, released at the end of July, highlighted the main issues that suppliers and consumers face in the current energy market.
BizzEnergy welcomed the report‘s recommendations saying it was “pleased that the committee has identified and acknowledged the key issues affecting the industry” and hoped the report would “mark a step-forward to a more efficient and effective energy market”.
BizzEnergy said it had been a long-time supporter of the BERR investigation and would like to see the energy industry focus more on customer needs and market transparency.
BizzEnergy also confirmed that it would continue to work with the UK government and Ofgem to provide any further information they needed.
