Swiss-based drinking water company, Greenland Spring Water received its long-awaited green light from the local government to begin processing and bottling mineral water from deep within the island of Greenland.
Negotiations have finally finished with the government, allowing the company to enter production. Greenland Spring Water plans to market the high quality mineral water as a luxury product to nations including South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and Germany. It is also currently in talks with vendors in Switzerland, France, Belgium, and Israel.
Sermitsiaq reports that the bottled water will be called 938, named for the pH level of 9.38 in the water that is considered an ideal level of alkalinity for mineral water. Initially, the company will target upscale hotels, high-end boutique shops and restaurants. The second phase of marketing will target the fitness and beauty industry in participating countries.
Marc Zulian, the general manager of Greenland Spring Water, believes Greenland’s image as an island with pristine natural beauty will play a huge role in sales. The island nation will feature prominently in all its advertising. Greenland’s government will also earn revenue from sales of the mineral water, receiving a royalty for each bottle produced at the factory that will be located in the town of Qeqertarsuaq.
Best water I’ve ever tried. Its smoothness and elegance is unique. Unfortunately, it isn’t available anymore here.
Greetings from Switzerland
hoi Marc,
congratulations ! Hope this will (or already is) a great success. Best of luck and kind regards

Dear densou. I don’t know where your frustration comes from. I also don’t really understand your arguments. The only issue I can explain is the PET (plastic) bottles. At that time it is a need to transport PET preforms to Greenland because of the high transportation cost. Greenland Springwater also will fill up into Glass Bottle in Denmark. Regards, Marc
Bottled water isn’t a commodity good here (crappy Italy) and nowadays there’s no need to buy it: boicott this lobby. It require more (Note: traditional) plastics than heavy industries for supplying the whole land. People don’t mind it, villains remains villains ^^
Think about…. Greeting from the major EU’s dump.
