According to Finns, the consulting firm Accenture is the top large company to work for in that country this year.
The findings were part of the annual survey undertaken by the Great Places to Work Institute Finland which identifies the best small, mid-size and large scale companies to be employed by. In the large company category, for over 500 employees, management consultants Accenture headed off Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company, household giant IKEA, the University Pharmacy and YLE, the Finnish Broadcasting Company.
In the mid-sized company category for organisations with 50 to 500 employees the Software manufacturer Reaktor won the top honour ahead of Management Events, Pipelife Finland, Microsoft Finland and legal service provider Fondia.
For small scale businesses with 15 to 49 employees, the sensor manufacturer SICK was voted best small company to work for ahead of software group Rauhala Yhlot and rehabilitation specialists Tutoris.
YLE reports that the winners in all three categories won their respective awards for the second consecutive year with Accenture being honoured for the fourth time. The Great Place to Work Institute Finland awards are based on surveying workers’ satisfaction in addition to how proud employees are at their job, management confidence and relationships with co-workers.
