In celebration of his debut solo album “go”, Jonsi of the Icelandic band Sigur Ros will begin his 2010 live tour on April 6th in Vancouver, Canada. Jonsi has teamed up with a British stage production company called 59 productions to create a unique live show for his 2010 “go” tour. The 59 productions team is creating a live stage show which will be a fusion of film, art installation, theatre performance and live concert.
Jonsi will bring his solo tour to Canada, North America, UK and Europe starting in Vancouver at the beginning of April. The tour will visit London, Brussels, Seattle, Philadelphia, Amsterdam, Paris, Boston and many more cities. Already, due to demand, a second concert is being held in London on May 27th at the London forum.
Jonsi’s debut solo album “go” will be released on April 5th in Europe and April 6th in the U.S.A. The album consists of nine songs, most of which are sung in English.
