Russell Crowe and Patti Smith perform together at the Reykjavik Culture Night

Great video caught last night of the actor/musician Russell Crowe, musician Alan Doyle and the singer Patti Smith singing performing “Because the night” at the annual Reykjavik Culture Night. According to Reykjavik.com Mr. Crowe invited Patti Smith to come on stage at around midway through his concert with Alan to take on this signature Patti Smith song.

Iceland has been swamped with famous foreigners over the last months including Russell Crowe, Leonardo DiCaprio, Patti Smith, Naomi Watts, Robbie Williams, Ben Stiller, Emma Watson and Bruce Willis.
