According to recent statistics conducted by the Association of European Airlines (AEA), Iceland’s leading airline Icelandair was the most punctual airline in Europe for its international flights during September 2012.
Icelandair was the most punctual airline in Europe for its long-haul flights in September, with a 92.5% on time performance. The airline also topped the list for its medium & short-haul flights with a 93.9% on time performance.
Out of 25 International airlines measured, 93.5% of Icelandair’s flights were on time, putting the Iceland airline in first place.
Furthermore, punctuality data monitored by the Association of European Airlines (AEA) on behalf of its members confirmed that Icelandair currently tops the list for punctuality for its long-haul flights in 2012, with a 90.7% on time performance.
