Prince Harry and girlfriend Cressida Bonas are said to be set to take a romantic break in Iceland, despite stories that Prince Charles wants him to end the relationship.
The couple are believed to have chosen Iceland as the perfect place to get away from it all after Harry enjoyed a holiday there last year.
Prince Charles is reported to want Harry to break things off from his girlfriend of two years because of her family problems. However, Harry is said to have reacted angrily to his father’s pleas and told him that he will not split up from the girl he loves simply because of her family.
Bonas’ stepfather killed himself in January, and Charles believes the Royal family being linked with the tragedy could be bad for their image. One source said revealed that Charles is delighted the family’s credibility was restored after the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton and the subsequent birth of their son, Prince George, and is worried of the negative impacts Bonas’ family problems could have on that.
But Harry seems unconcerned by Charles’s views and instead wants to do everything he can to ensure Cressida and he remain an item. It seems his decision to escape the UK and enjoy the wonders of Iceland may be best for all concerned parties.
