Some of the acts lined up to perform at the Secret Solstice festival in Iceland have been announced, with Massive Attack the star attraction.
The British band will headline the 72-hour sunlight festival, which is being held for the first time. The concept of Secret Solstice, which will be held from 20 June to 22 June, is that revellers will be able to party in the sunlight for 72 hours straight with the sun not setting all weekend.
Iceland is a country renowned for putting on weird and wonderful festivals, and Secret Solstice has already been described by US newspaper The Examiner as the most unique music festival the world has ever seen.
Organisers have revealed that more than 100 acts are due to perform over the course of the three days, although only some of them have been announced to date. However, with Massive Attack, who are renowned across the globe for their scintillating festival performances, already confirmed, there is sure to be a mad rush for tickets in Iceland and beyond when they go on sale.
Other acts already confirmed include Icelandic band Mum, house star Kerri Chandler, Artwork, Skream, Boddika, Damien Lazarus, Woodkid, Eats Everything, Oneman, Carl Craig and Jackmaster.
