Last Tuesday American heartthrob Jared Leto made a stop in Iceland. The actor and musician was on his way to Greenland with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars. The group will be filming their music video in Greenland with the help of an Icelandic production company, Arctic First.
The film production team has 16 members, including Sigurbjorn Bui Baldursson. “We will mostly shoot on icebergs and glaciers so it should be a very cool video,” he said, sounding very enthusiastic about the project.
The music video is being directed by Leto, and Baldursson will be working closely with him as his assistant director. The team left Iceland to travel to the town of Illulisat, a location most well known for the beauty of its icebergs.
Jared Leto first came caught the public’s attention playing Jordon Catalano alongside Claire Danes in the television series ‘My So Called Life’. Since then, he has landed more prestigious roles in big screen hits like ‘Requiem for a Dream’ and ‘Fight Club’.
