Iceland’s capital, Reykjavík, is to host the 9th annual internet marketing conference RIMC, next month. The renowned online communications event is set to feature presentations from well-respected marketing leaders from stakeholders such as Facebook, BBC, Adobe, and Microsoft.
According to the conference chair, and founder of Nordic eMarketing, Kristján Már Hauksson, RIMC 2012 will be focusing on two tracks; one focusing on internet communication and marketing, and the other on best practice tips and Social Marketing.
For the first time, the internet marketing conference will also be holding the miscellaneous ‘Dark Sessions’, featuring Mikkel DeMib, Peter Van Der Graaf, and Fantomaster. This session will be focusing on the ‘darker side’ of internet marketing.
Amongst the speakers already confirmed for RIMC 2012 include: Eli Pariser, The Filter Bubble; Bill Hunt, Back Azimuth; Ben Chapman, BBC; Charles Dowd, Facebook; Brent D. Payne, Tribune/BaldSEO; Motoko Hunt, Adobe; Phil Greenwood, Microsoft; and Matt Neal, Bright Sparx.
