Josh Groban Sings at Sell-Out Concert in Iceland

Josh Groban sang at Laugardalsholl in Reykjavik last night to a fully-packed Icelandic audience. The American pop-classic singer performed songs from his latest album ‘Awake’ alongside the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra and the Reykjavik Gospel Choir.

Josh Groban is a Grammy-nominated 26 year old singer/songwriter renown for his mature and lyrical baritone voice. His career has been dominated by concert performances and studio recordings but he has also established a foundation named after himself to help children in need through education, healthcare and the arts.

Tickets to the performance were sold out within 4 minutes and it was therefore decided to add another night to his performance on 15th May. Tonight is the last night Groban will perform in Iceland – on Friday he will perform in Oslo and on Saturday in Stockholm. From there will continue touring around Europe and then back to US and Canada.Groban’s Awake world tour has the ambitious schedule of visiting 71 cities between February and August 2007 and he is also planning on adding four cities in Australia.
