Reykjavik, Iceland At 10:00 GMT today, the Icelandic Parliament started the voting process on the Icesave deal. The Members of Parliaments are now explaining individually how they voted and then initiate their votes. Members from each political party have gone through the process of explaining their vote and each of them claims some kind of victory in regards of influencing the process of the deal.
Part of the first process is to go through proposals put forward by the opposition which are then voted on. As it looks now, all of these post changes will not be approved, we expect the main voting to start within the next hour.
